If you’re a fellow single chick with no attachment, then maybe you don’t have a Valentine in mind. I know that I can’t think of one person I’d like to spend that day with, especially since moving out here to Los Angeles and dealing with this “dating scene.” That right there is an entirely different blog point, but I digress….my point is, Valentine’s Day I probably won’t have any plans, but it seems like a great day to go see A Good Day To Die Hard.
Yes, yes, yes! John McClane is back! The Die Hard series is one of my favorites, and every week they show the films on the premium channels, so I’m constantly watching them over and over again. So when I found out that another film in the series was coming out, I instantly became ecstatic! Bruce Willis can do no wrong in my eyes, and I love the fact he is reprising his role as the infamous badass, John McClane.
So like most of the Die Hard films, the plot involves stopping crazy foreign terrorists and protecting someone. In this case, McClane travels to Russia to help his estranged son Jack out of Prison, but of course, what seems like an “easy” task turns into a larger plot of gunfire, sexy Russian women, and epic one liners from McClane. Yup, those are the main ingredients for a Die Hard film and I’m not complaining. I’m looking forward to seeing it!
To all my fellow single folks, if you don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day, grab a few of your buddies and go see A Good Day To Die Hard. And to all the couples out there, you could go see it as well, but fellas make sure your lady likes action movies. For me, a perfect movie date is seeing a kung fu flick, sci-fi, or an action film; chick flicks are my thing. 🙂
