Watching Max Lyazgin’s new music video “Happy Days” really makes me earn for the beaches of Southern California, but DC in the summer is still a beautiful experience (minus the beaches.) We might not have that sunshine and the glitz of Hollywood, but the internationals and the rich history, as well as the booming house scene, make DC a great summer experience.
To be honest, doubt I’ll be moving back to Los Angeles anytime soon, but it doesn’t mean I can’t get tropical and enjoy the beaches, palms, and happy vibes of Russian-based producer Max Lyazgin’s latest music video.
A “happy day” means something different to everyone, but I’m sure we can all agree that the tropical sounds and the relaxation of a frolicking on the beach can be the height of happiness. Guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

It has been quite some time since I’ve had the chance to groove to a snazzy, oh-so jazzy, house & nu-disco mix, so Le Visiteur’s new mix “Le Deuxieme” couldn’t come at a better time.
Hailing from Britain, Le Visiteur is a DJ that is making a name for himself in the UK music scene (and hopefully with support from blogs, the American scene.) He’s been touring the UK on gigs with his good friend Mighty Mouse, and now he’s back with a massive serving of nu-disco cuts and house.
Mixing together some of his favorite cuts of the year, Le Deuxieme is a great mix that is worth checking out. Get in the mix with Le Visiteur!

It’s hump day, so get over the hump with some soulful house from Frankie Knuckles pres. Directors Cut. Featuring the vocals of Sybil, this soulful track titled “Let Yourself Go” is exudes love, peace, happiness, and house.
The original mix is ultra soulful, but the Joey Negro remix gives it a disco-house sound..and you know I love me some disco house!

Hey everyone! Hope that you have gotten off to a great start this week. Sorry for the hiatus in blogging; crunch time on a massive project for Hearst. So hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to return to posting, but there was no way I could ignore posting this heavy dosage of pure magic from The Magician.
That’s right, Tuesday has just gotten better! The Magician has released his Magic Tape 32, and in similar fashion to the other mixes, it’s a mysterious mix that is bouncing with pure magic rhythms of house, electro, and dance.
Give it a listen below and download it for free. Maybe you can identify a few of the tracks/remixes in the mix. Give it a shot, you might get lucky.
