Dubstep x DNB | Keeping The Faith

artworks-000047856298-uw9fpv-t500x500House music is my heart, but hey I love all things in the family of electronic dance music and I can get down with dubstep and drum & bass (so addicting!) So when Keeping The Faith (Ian Halsall) sent me links to some of his latest tracks, I was totally digging what I heard.

Even though I’m a house music junkie for life and that’s my heart, I love all types of music (especially EDM.) So don’t ever be afraid to submit your music to me. I try my best to share good music. :)

Word to the wise: you can never go wrong with some dubstep, drum & bass, and good old fashioned breaks.  So check out some of Keeping The Faith’s music and be sure to stay in the loop via his soundcloud.

House x Nu-Disco | Le Visiteur – Le Deuxieme x Disco Edits [Free Download]

artworks-000046659421-gvzm1u-t500x500I’m craving nu-disco.

It has been quite some time since I’ve had the chance to groove to a snazzy, oh-so jazzy, house & nu-disco mix, so Le Visiteur’s new mix “Le Deuxieme” couldn’t come at a better time.

Hailing from Britain, Le Visiteur is a DJ that is making a name for himself in the UK music scene (and hopefully with support from blogs, the American scene.) He’s been touring the UK on gigs with his good friend Mighty Mouse, and now he’s back with a massive serving of nu-disco cuts and house.

Mixing together some of his favorite cuts of the year, Le Deuxieme is a great mix that is worth checking out. Get in the mix with Le Visiteur! :)

Groove to MK and Bondax’s Beautiful Remixes of Indie Duo Rhye’s Hit Single – ‘Open’

BeFunky_Instant_1.jpg
While jamming to MK’s latest Defected in the House Mix, I immediately was hypnotized by this track with haunting vocals; vocals that steal your soul for a few moments. Luckily, iTunes Defected in the House podcast shows the track listing while you’re listening, so I was able to quickly identify the track called “Open” by Rhye.

Have you heard of Rhye? If not, then get in the know. They are a Los Angeles-based indie duo and their track “Open” is a beautiful serenade that takes you there. The original is quite a musical experience, but the remix by MK is surely a house favorite.

Along with the remix by MK, Bondax has also give the track a chill remix. Both of the vibes from MK and Bondax are lovely, so I must say I’m madly in love with both; one is for dancing, the other is for cruising.

Give the house touch by MK a listen, close your eyes and drift away with Bondax’s remix, and while you’re at it, watch the original video for Rhye’s “Open” below.
