I’ve got a huge list of games I can’t wait to get my hands on, but as of late I’ve been going in on GTA:San Andreas. I haven’t had the chance to play my PS3 since I’ve been on the move (life of a nomad right now,) so whenever I have the chance I play San Andreas using my PS3 controller and my Macbook Pro. It’s one of the best games in the franchise, but after watching the new trailers for Grand Theft Auto V, I think this new title might be the best one to date.
In the new trailers, Rockstar gives us a glimpse at the three different worlds of the characters Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Each one has their own vibe that makes each character seem like they come from their own game, but there is a sense of cohesion in the story line that will make switching characters and missions a blast!
Enjoy the 80s music of Michael’s trailer, get gangsta with Franklin’s hustle, and go redneck with the country bumpkin antics of Trevor.
GTA: V WILL BE OFFICIALLY RELEASED ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2013!
Usually most movies based off games end up being horrible, but if Mass Effect 3 and Gears of War could be movies, they would be pretty good. There is already talks of a ME3 movie in the works, but could you imagine what it would be like if an open-world game like Grand Theft Auto became a film?
Well, director Gevorg Karensky decided to give us a taste of what a live-action Grand Theft Auto style film could look like. Of course, you’d need fast cars, a criminal in a rugged leather jacket, and some epic party scene, followed by a shoot-out or chase scene. Yeah, that sounds like a scene from a GTA game. Well, in the Karensky directed short “GTA:Rise” you’ve got all of the ingredients of a pretty good GTA-style action scene.
If this was a feature length film, would you watch it? Heck, I would. What can I say? I like chase scene, flashy cars, leather jackets, and all things reminiscent of GTA.
Grand Theft Auto has always been one of those franchises from Rockstar Games you either love or hate. Some folks (which I’ve met) dislike the open world atmosphere and the misions, while others (like myself) love it! I been a huge GTA fan from day one, so when I heard about GTA V a few months ago, I was stoked!
Well, now I’m even more stoked. The second trailer for GTA V is officially here. Do I like it? Yes, I really really do.
As of late, I’ve been playing MW3 and Mass Effect 3 multiplayer a lot. There wasn’t’ really a lot of games that came out this month that have caught my interest, but perhaps that’s because the only game I’ve been following is Max Payne 3.
The game doesn’t come out until next month, but it’s already caught my attention mainly because 1.) amazing graphics 2.) great storyline and 3.) bullet time. This isn’t the first time a game has relied heavily on bullet time (think back to the riveting experience of John Woo’s Strangehold.) That game was pretty cool mainly because of the tactic of slowing time down and letting the player seemingly direct which way the bullets go, especially when surrounded by numerous enemies.
I liked the usage of bullet time, and I’m glad that it’s going to be used in Rockstar Games Max Payne 3. But oh, don’t think bullet time will only be used in the story mode. Yeah, it’s also incorporated into the online multiplayer. Pretty cool, right?
