I’ve got a huge list of games I can’t wait to get my hands on, but as of late I’ve been going in on GTA:San Andreas. I haven’t had the chance to play my PS3 since I’ve been on the move (life of a nomad right now,) so whenever I have the chance I play San Andreas using my PS3 controller and my Macbook Pro. It’s one of the best games in the franchise, but after watching the new trailers for Grand Theft Auto V, I think this new title might be the best one to date.
In the new trailers, Rockstar gives us a glimpse at the three different worlds of the characters Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Each one has their own vibe that makes each character seem like they come from their own game, but there is a sense of cohesion in the story line that will make switching characters and missions a blast!
Enjoy the 80s music of Michael’s trailer, get gangsta with Franklin’s hustle, and go redneck with the country bumpkin antics of Trevor.
GTA: V WILL BE OFFICIALLY RELEASED ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2013!
Aside from the 80s, the 90s was the best! Why? Because hip-hop was golden, fashion was bright, video games were simple graphics yet confusing puzzles, television shows were spectacularly awesome, and playing with toys was actually fun. You didn’t even need video games, you could play with a handful of toys and be quite alright. Technology wasn’t necessary and of course social media wasn’t really around, so you actually had time to bond and make true friends.
The 90s will forever and always be the best time in history, and perhaps I’m biased since I was born in 91, but I’m just saying…the 90s rule. And I’m not the only one who thinks so, Internet Explorer agrees.
If you’re in the mood for some nostalgia, then the new IE commercial will be right up your alley. But of course, if you want something more hype and fresh, you can always watch the IE commercial featuring Alex Clare’s “Too Close.” Dubstep wasn’t big in the 90s, so you won’t find it in this new commercial “Child of the 90s.”
The other day I saw that new Internet Explorer Commercial, and the only reason I kept watching it was because the song. Dude, the song is spectacular! Seriously, it’s got this amazing quality that resonates immediately and it’s the perfect soundtrack for that commercial.
So, let me go ahead and tell you about this awesome song. The song is by this British singer/songwriter named Alex Clare and it’s called “Too Close.” It’s a pretty amazing track, so it really caught my attention.
The song has this dubstep vibe, but the vocals of Alex Clare are soulfully rich. This is my first time ever hearing a song by Alex Clare, but I must say I instantly became a fan of his music.
Watch the official video above, and feel free to watch the Internet Explorer commercial below.

I couldn’t imagine being forced to go throughout the day without having interaction via phone, social media, email, videogames, Macbook (my bro & I call it Macbooking it,) and just be immersed in the digital.
As our society grows more advanced technologically, we are constantly being bombarded with the sounds of notifications & apps. It doesn’t bother me too much, especially if it’s the notification sound of Words With Friends. Yeah, I just became addicted to it. I barely played it before, but now it could be an obsession every now and then. At least the notifier sound is so adorable!
But not everything sounds good together. All the Tweets, FB chat sounds, text messages, phone calls, and digital sounds can be annoying at times; a recipe for a dreadful headache. Yet, filmmaker Chris Crutchfield shows us that all these digital sounds can work together in a seamless fusion of good music.
Crutchfield’s short video “Digitals” is his interpretation of a day he experienced, a day in which he received Tweets, sms, Facebook messages, and a phone call all at once. So he decided to make a short video & turn all the madness of the digital sounds into a video that in my opinion is awesomesauce.
If only the sounds of my day could actually create a nice mellow tune. But then again, my days consistent of house music blasting from my speakers & ipod dock; so usually the digital sounds of the day get lost in pure awesomesauce of house. Yet, I’m sure it would be kind of fun to take the sounds of electronics and turn them into a song. But luckily, Chris Crutchfield has already done that for us.
Peep the visuals below.
