Sunshine Vibes | Miami Horror x Cleopold – ‘Love Like Mine’

Taking into consideration how unbelievably cold it has been, I’m beginning to feel like it’s never going to warm up. Well, perhaps that’s a little too dramatic, but with temperatures below 20 degrees, can you blame me for feeling pessimistic?

But I digress. Despite the unfathomable temperatures, music still has the power to warm up our spirits…and I’ve got a track for you that might bring some sunshine your way.

Melbourne electro-pop band, Miami Horror, are warming things up with their new single “Love Like Mine.”

Forthcoming on their second album, All Possible Futures (out in April,) this new track is a vibrant preview to the soundtrack of spring/summer.

While listening to those won’t warm up the temperatures outside (if only,) it will at least put a smile on your face and give you awesome daydreams of the sunny days to come.

Synth-pop | Years & Years – King (Official Video)

Even if you’re not a fan of synth-pop (but you should be,) you’ll certainly enjoy this visually oasis in Years & Years’ new music video, “King.”

Shot in Los Angeles, this music video features a handful of talented dancers, the band, and symbolism of feeling controlled by somebody and hoping they’d let you go.

Strong emotions with a catchy synth-pop vibe to match. Certainly gets my approval of awesomeness. :)

By any means necessary, get your party on with this smashing holiday mix from Dim Mak Records artist, Boots N Pants.

Tomorrow’s the last day in 2014, so you might as well party it up, make bold decisions, and have a good @$$ time before the 2015 cliches  “new year, new me” begin to haunt you.

Jam-packed into 30 minutes, this killer mix has all the g-house, deep house, future house, and everything in between you’ll need to house it up on the dancefloor, the bedroom, you car, or wherever you feel like getting hype.

#TBT Electro | Some Old x New Tracks From Brodinski

It’s #ThrowbackThursday (aka #TBT) and while I’m inclined to post some old school house classics, I’m sort of in a dirty electro mood right now. And after staying up late finishing a video last night, I turned on Spotify and ran across a wicked track from Brodinski.

The track I’m talking about is a certified banger titled “Nobody Rules The Streets” and it features Louisahhh!

Although it came out only 2 years ago, it still isn’t current, which means it’s grounds for being posted under the guise of #tbt.

Something Old, Something New

Okay, so while I’m totally digging that track above, I’ve got some more wicked cuts to share with you. Below are a few tracks from the past 6-8 months that Brodinski has uploaded on soundcloud, with the latest being an exclusive mix for V Magazine.

So go ahead, get #turntup or whatever you want to these HARD beats. ;)

Not only is David La Melza  one of the co-founders of the blog Gotta Dance Dirty, but he’s also a pretty groovy nu-disco DJ that goes by the moniker Tropicool.

And even though he resides in Los Angeles (which surely doesn’t get snow,) he still put together a snazzy slow-burning mix that will warm you up during these harsh winter months.

So if you’re feeling cold, a little lonely, or need a good fix of slow-burn and nu-disco, then peep out this mix.
