2012 has been one hell of a year! I’ve been through quite a bit of good x bad things, but moving making the leap to move to Los Angeles is one of the best things I’ve done. I’m falling in love with California, making new friends, loving my job, and anxious to see x do more. Oh and as far as music, man California has so much music I’ve yet to explore! But I’ve got to admit that 2012 was a great year for music, especially pop music.
The pop music this year was pretty good, and each year you can surely expect an awesome mashup of the years biggest songs curteousy of DJ Earworm. So in the tradition of keeping things consistently fresh, DJ Earwarm released his 2012 pop mashup titled “United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter.)”
The mashup features a lot of the year’s big hits from Fun., Gotye x Kimbra, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, The Wanted, and so many more great artists! See the tracklisting below the video and enjoy the United State of Pop 2012.

New Zealand singer Kimbra has unveiled her new music video for her latest single, “Come Into My Head.”
Never before has being crazy looked so quirky and cool like it does in Kimbra’s new music video. She makes the art of being crazy in a mental hospital look very quirky, pop-ish, and kind of classy. Haha, it’s a weird fusion of crazy + fun, but it goes perfect with the song and the entire vibe of Kimbra.
Watch the video below. It is such an eccentric video and as usual, the vocals are on point! I love Kimbra’s music and her entire approach to fashion; she’s such a unique quirky artist with a beautiful voice.
You’ve got to admit, the Converse music initiatives are quite impressive. They always pair up the best three artists and deliver some pretty original tracks. “Warrior” featuring Kimbra, A-Trak, and Mark Foster is yet another one of those great tracks sponsored by Converse.
This came out back in April, but it’s still such an awesome video. I love the Lucha Libre masks! I actually brought an ex of mine one of those masks after seeingNacho Libre.
Not only is the video pretty cool, but the song itself is a nice track to drive around town on a sunny day or chill out with some friends and jam to music.
