Pure Comedy | Madden 25: Running Back Sons [Commercial]

As a gamer, I’ve tried my hands at a little bit of everything. RPG, racing games, FPS (my favorite,) hack-n-slash, basketball, and yes, even Madden. Now I’m the first to admit that I’m horrible at Madden, but I’ll still give it my best shot. Now, I can give you a run for your money in Call of Duty, but if it’s Madden, I’m guaranteed to lose. And to many folks (guys) surprise, I actually enjoy watching football.

With the start of NFL season and release of Madden 25 right around the corner, the advertising madness has begun. And what better way to create frenzy around a game than shooting a hilarious commercial.

Just in case you’ve missed the pure comedy, then you really ought to check out this super-funny new commercial for the upcoming game, Madden 25. It’s feeds into that competitive spirit of Madden that you either love or hate.  Total beast mode.

The-Last-of-Us-VGA-2012-TrailerJune 14th might feel like it’s really far away, but hey, it’s worth the wait. Why? Because The Last of Us has been serving up great footage that makes you want to wait for this release, and the red band trailer makes it even more awesome!

Epic? Maybe! | Battlefield 4 – Official 17 Minutes “Fishing in Baku” Gameplay

url1OMFG. Yes, yes, yes. Battlefield 4 has been announced!!!! I mean, I thought I was excited about another Call of Duty game coming out in Fall (hopefully its better than Black Ops 2,) but now I’m insanely ecstatic upon hearing (and seeing) Battlefield 4 revealed.

As one of the biggest publishers for Electronic ArtsBattlefield 3 was an extraordinary experience for us FPS junkies. The single-player campaign mode was impressive, but the online gameplay was perhaps the main attraction of the title. And with it being such a success, I’m sure that Battlefield 4 will go above and beyond the call of duty (haha, it might actually be better.)

Running on Frostbite Engine 3, the17 minute gameplay of BF4 will surely blow your mind. Wow, those graphics are insane! Makes me want to wait for the PS4 just to it (or is it going to only be on Ps3, PC, and 360?)

Either way, I must say the “Fishing in Baku” gameplay has caught my attention and I will be following the updates of this game closely!

Hopefully in the next coming weeks and months we will see more gameplay and hear more details of what to expect. Do you think it will be as epic as BF3? Hmmm…it just might be! :)

Awesomesauce | GTA: Rise – Live Action Short Film

Usually most movies based off games end up being horrible, but if Mass Effect 3 and Gears of War could be movies, they would be pretty good. There is already talks of a ME3 movie in the works, but could you imagine what it would be like if an open-world game like Grand Theft Auto became a film?

Well, director Gevorg Karensky decided to give us a taste of what a live-action Grand Theft Auto style film could look like. Of course, you’d need fast cars, a criminal in a rugged leather jacket, and some epic party scene, followed by a shoot-out or chase scene. Yeah, that sounds like a scene from a GTA game. Well, in the Karensky directed short “GTA:Rise” you’ve got all of the ingredients of a pretty good GTA-style action scene.

If this was a feature length film, would you watch it? Heck, I would. What can I say? I like chase scene, flashy cars, leather jackets, and all things reminiscent of GTA.

Yeah, It’s Here | GTA V Trailer # 2

Grand Theft Auto has always been one of those franchises from Rockstar Games you either love or hate. Some folks (which I’ve met) dislike the open world atmosphere and the misions, while others (like myself) love it! I been a huge GTA fan from day one, so when I heard about GTA V a few months ago, I was stoked!

Well, now I’m even more stoked. The second trailer for GTA V is officially here. Do I like it? Yes, I really really do.

God of War: Ascension E3 Gameplay Demo + Multiplayer Mode Preview

Kratos is the truth! I’m a huge fan of God of War, even though I often get frustrated with all the combos and how hard some of the levels can be. Yet, I think I’m totally going to pre-order God of War: Ascension. Not only does the gameplay look quite vicious, but the multiplayer mode looks like it could be a lot of fun.

God of War: Ascension debuted at E3 yesterday and it surprised fans with how promising the multiplayer mode actually looks. On various blogs I’ve noticed some speculation surrounding the prior rumors of the game having multiplayer. Some fans thought it wasn’t a good idea, while others weren’t sure exactly how you would pull that off. Kratos is awesome, so if we aren’t playing online as Kratos, then what character are we controlling?

Well, the crew behind God of War decided to put all the gamers at ease and actually showcase a preview of their multiplayer mode. The mode is called Favor of the gods and you get to work you way from an unknown hero to a hero or demi-god. You get to work with your team and aid in the effort to basically kill a huge beast. Pretty cool, right? If you enjoy playing online (I love playing online with my friends & bf,) then you might want to definitely check out God of War: Ascension.

I don’t think everyone is quite convinced yet on the multiplayer mode, but that’s quite alright. Even if the mode doesn’t live up to expectations (what should we even be expecting?) it’s still worth checking out the game for story mode. The story mode looks quite promising as well and I think fans of God of War might like it. It all really depends on your gaming preference and if you happen to be a fan of Kratos and all the bloody galore. If I may so myself, I’m more into shooting games, but I’m not going to shy away from hours of hardcore combos, bloody guts, and epic aggression. Sounds like awesomesauce.
