English indie pop band, The xx, just released their second album Coexist, and to follow-up the release of the album, they have debuted stunning visuals for their single “Chained.”
I first heard the single awhile back and loved the haunting quality of it. If you’ve listened to The xx, then you know their music has this subtle haunting quality that is infused with an organic atmosphere of serenity; listening to their music ensures a state of reflection and relaxation.
The visuals for “Chained” featureThe xx diving into a huge underwater oasis, which appears to be a gigantic pool; I’m not even complaining, I’d love to dive into that pool and actually chill underwater, but I of course can’t hold my breathe forever. I wish I could though. That would be amazing to just relax underwater, and I don’t mean with scuba equipment either.
Anyways, before I go on a long tangent, I suggest you watch the beautiful visuals for The xx’s “Chained.”
Honestly, the only songs I know by Passion Pit are “Sleepyhead” and “Little Secrets.” So I’m not going to sit here and pretend like I know all there songs and every single lyric, but I do love “Sleepyhead” and I’m feeling their latest single, “Take A Walk.”
Apparently they’ve got a new album coming out in July. Should be pretty cool…right? Like I said, I don’t follow their music that much. But I do like their new music video and latest track, “I’ll Be Alright.”
Check out the new sounds below, as well as some of their old tracks that you might like.
Might as well post the tracks I do know and listen to a lot.
Plus, they’ve got uber cool videos.
