Awesomesauce | BaneCat Strikes Back! (Video)

The internet is full of cat videos ranging from adorable to hilarious, but one video that truly changed the game was “BaneCat.”

Basically, a few months ago this guy decided to make a parody of Bane (you know, Batman’s nemesis,) and instead of repeating the same cliche parodies we’ve seen on the web, he decided to turn his cat into Bane.

Say hello to BaneCat. He’s difficult to understand, he’s sneaky, he’s clever, he’s an asshole, and yet he’s hilariously cute. And now, he has returned to the internet in a second episode.

Check it out. Hopefully we’ll see more of these in the future. And if not, at least we’ve got the awesomeness to enjoy for the time being.

Awesomesauce | Jonah Hill ‘Her’ Movie Spoof – ‘Me’ (VIDEO)

Last night, Jonah Hill hosted Saturday Night Live and while most of the skits were decently funny, the best was his hilarious spoof of Spike Jonze’s film, Her.

In the same way Her is about a guy falling in love with his phone’s OS, Jonah’s spoof follows the same premise, except his OS sounds just like him and has the same personality. Basically, he is in love with himself.

The whole Spike Jonze concept is creepy, but apparently it’s a really good movie. And I hadn’t planned on seeing it, but after watching this “Me” spoof, I might have to see what it’s all about.

Oh, and in case you missed the opening monologue from SNL, be sure to check it out.

“Yes, Rose. Yes, you’re flying.”

Awesomesauce | The Walking Dead Season 4 Preview (VIDEO)

February is right around the corner, and you know what that marks? The return of The Walking Dead season 4!

If you tuned in last season, then you are well aware of the war between the governor and the group, and how it all came to an explosive end resulting in Rick & Carl heading off into the woods…on their own.

Well, this preview for the upcoming season shows us a little bit of the psychological trauma that has been caused, as well as some footage of what makes this show great, ruthless survival.

Will everyone survive?

Find out in the premiere, which airs Sun., Feb. 9 at 9/8c.

P.S. If you haven’t read The Walking Dead Compendium: Part One, I highly recommend you get it via Amazon. Great read! I need to purchase Part Two.

Awesomesauce | Stormtroopers Twerking (VIDEO)

You’d figure that we had enough of the twerking craze in 2013, especially with Miley Cyrus and her flat ass (seriously, she has no cakes) exploiting the dance.

Well, the viral twerkfest isn’t over. Now, Stormtroopers are joining in on the fun.

That’s right, Stormtroopers are twerking. Apparently, it’s officially a thing. This video could have easily bordered cheesy or cheap, But much to my surprise, it actually is really cool!b You haven’t seen twerking look so geeky, yet so fresh, until you watch this video of a group of Stormtroopers showing off their hip-hop moves.

Awesomesauce | LEGO Unveils ‘The Simpsons’ House

When it comes to pop culture, The Simpsons is one of the most iconic cartoons ever created. Not only has it been on air for over 20 years, but it’s also one of the longest-running scripted shows.

Yeah, it’s survived the test of time, so it was only a matter of time before LEGO did something super awesome: the brand created a “The Simpsons” LEGO set.

This partnership with LEGO is to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, and in the end of May we can expect to a Lego-themed episode.

The Iconic House

According to Hypebeast, this set retails at $200 and will include LEGO figures of Marge, Homer, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and of course everyone’s favorite neighbor, Ned Flanders.

The set even includes the family’s “tacky” pink car, which you really can’t help but to love. Gosh, it is really tacky though. Haha, you’d think after all these years Homer would invest in a new ride. But then again, we are talking about Homer. LOL.

But I digress. This set looks pretty sweet! And as a fan of Lego sets, if I had the cash to drop, I would consider it. But I don’t really collect Lego sets, so I think I’ll just enjoy looking at the pictures….which I must add are awesomesauce!

What do you think of this set? Would you buy it?
