Trippy Cats Take the Spotlight in Jimmy Edgar’s “Who’s Watchin” Video

I’m not sure how you feel about cats staring at you, but it can be creepy! And in Jimmy Edgar’s new video for his single “Who’s Watchin,” we’ve got a handful of trippy cats piercing into our souls with their big eyes.

Some of you might not like the trippy visuals of this video, but some of you might love it! I personally, think it’s really outside the box and I enjoy the artistry of the cats.

Fresh Visuals | Ten Walls – ‘Walking With Elephants’ (VIDEO)

You’d imagine there would be elephants in a music video for “Walking With Elephants,” but instead, electronic producer Ten Walls (aka Mario Basanov,) is gives us epic surrealism.

What I could only describe as a scene out of some avant-garde painting at the Smithsonian, this music video features a group of people dressed in black and white body suits running throughout some gorgeous scenery.

Not sure where this video is filmed, but the scenery is breathtaking! And what makes it even more appealing are the cool editing techniques that make this video insanely awesome.

I’m so tempted to spoil the end for you, but it’s best for you to watch the video and see where they end up running to. Yeah, it’s awesome.

Steve Aoki

EDM | Steve Aoki x Kid Ink – ‘Delirious (Boneless)’

kid-ink-2

Rappers on EDM tracks doesn’t normally result in tracks I’d love, but since I’m actually a fan of Steve Aoki, I’ll accept his collaboration with Kid Ink.

I don’t really listen to Kid Ink, but I absolutely love that track “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown. What can I say? I love Breezy. :)

Anyways, so yeah, like I was saying, Steve Aoki has debuted a new track called “Delirious(Boneless)” and it features some bars from Kid Ink.

It’s not perfect, but it’s not as bad as “Tsunami” featuring Tinie Tempah. Ugh, that song is terrible! One of the worst raps I’ve heard on an EDM track…it’s just bad.

“Delirious(Boneless)” isn’t bad, but it’s not awesome. It’s simple, repetitive, cliche, and perhaps could be good if you’re really drunk.

Either way, check it out:

The Mekanism

Deep Disco | Gwen Guthrie – ‘Dance Fever (The Mekanism Edit)’

Gwen+Guthrie+Gwen

As part of Deep Amsterdam’s Edit Series, The Mekanism has put his deep house spin on Gwen Guthrie’s disco classic, “Dance Fever.”

Even though I was born in 91′, I grew up shaking my groove thang to the funky sounds of disco. And when I discovered that house music had strong roots in disco, I knew that I would always be a disco dancing-machine.

Whenever I’m @ Deep Sugar or U Street Music Hall and the DJ starts playing some disco house, I get down on that dance floor and boogie like there is no tomorrow.

So, in spirit of keeping things old school and paying respect to them disco roots, I urge you to get oh so funky to these sweet disco vibes.
