Fresh Vibes | Elderbrook – ‘Could (The Six Remix)’

I like a track that has momentum and takes me on a journey. Even if I know where I’m going to end up, it’s still nice to be tossed and turned different directions. And tossing and turning is exactly what The Six’s remix of Elderbrook’s “Could” does.

With brooding vocals, new drum pads, synths, and baselines every 30 seconds, this track is an exciting number to listen to.

TCTS Debuts Artsy x Vibrant Visuals For ‘These Heights’ (VIDEO)

TCTS-These-Heightsa

This afternoon, out of all the music videos I’ve found on YouTube, I’m really loving these fresh new visuals from Manchester-based house producer, TCTS.

A few days ago he released this music video for his single, “These Heights,” which happens to also be the title of his EP out-now on Greco-Roman.

The video is really cool, having sort of an avant-garde vibe with tons of bright colors, a stylish leading lady, and even a stylish guy wearing a stripe shirt (reminds me of a mime.) And let me tell you, this guy has got some really good moves!

From the bright color explosions to the deep electro house beat of this track, everything works.

This is like an art-school project gone right!

Indie Dance | Kenna- ‘Love Is Still Alive (Teletexxt remix)’

kenna1

It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to Kenna, but right now I’m madly in love with Teletexxt’s indie dance remix of Kenna’s “Love Is Still Alive.”

With a musical ear for the 80s, deep disco, and indie dance music, Canadian producer Melodie Douglas aka Teletexxt has given this track a sexy slow-burn facelift.

Be sure to check out the original as well. I told you, it’s like a whole new face to this track!

UK Bass | Stanton Warriors – ‘After Hours London Warehouse Mix’

Bristol-based garage house/bass aficionados, Stanton Warriors, have released a massive new mix via their soundcloud.

With a run-time of 1-hour, this is a wiicked good mix that explores the deeper side of bass.

“This is a mix we recorded at a private after-hours party in East London last week. We went for a slightly deeper bass selection, showcasing all the talent coming through in this style from various scenes.” - Dominic Butler, Stanton Warriors.

This mix is insanely good, I mean wow wow wow! It takes me back to those nights at U Street Music Hall when the sound system is blasting hardcore bass and garage. What an incredible experience!

P.S. It must have been amazing hearing this set at the private party it was mixed for.
