Before I begin this post, let me just say that I’ve yet to actually do any cosplay, but I’m currently in the works of putting the pieces together to do a Wonder Woman photo shoot. More details to come!

Alright, so now that I got that out of the way, you should check out this pretty cool short feature, Human Angle: Cosplaying The Part.
Featuring cosplayer Ger Tysk, this short video from Polygon takers a deeper (but short) look at cosplay and how Ger views it as an art form. For her, cosplay is art, not just some weird hobby of dressing up.
Cosplay is a huge culture and community of people that enjoy showcasing their work. It’s not a bunch of weirdos, geeks, and lames getting together to make a statement; no, it’s much more than that.
Cosplay is about folks getting together, having a good ass time, and looking pretty effin’ cool in whatever cosplay they choose. Can you get down with that? Because I sure can.
Get ready for yet another bangin’ soundtrack, 3D animation antics, quirky minions, and the adorable Agnes. That’s right, Despicable Me has an official sequel, trailer, and pictures to match! And from what I’m seeing so far, it’s awesomesauce!
Be sure to add Despicable Me 2 to your lists of summer movies. This one hits theaters July 3rd and it’s probably going to be as good (if not better) than the first one. Fingers crossed!
Being tall and all, I’m a huge fan of DC Comics mainly because of Wonder Woman, but I do love Marvel and I’m especially fond of the X-Men. Dude, the X-Men are legit! So many different mutants with insanely cool powers, and you’ve got to admit, the movies are great and all, but nothing beats the classic 1992 cartoon.
Now of course I was born in 91, but as a kid I did enjoy watching the X-Men all the way until it’s finale in 97′. That show was so good! X-Men cartoon was not only cool because each of the characters, but the intro was very cool and this new stop motion video makes it even cooler! Have you seen it? Well if you haven’t seen it, then watch it below. The video is by Kyle Roberts and his buddies, and the entire video took 4,000 stills and 60 backgrounds. Wow, a lot of work! But the result is a huge payoff and the video is making its way around the web and reminding folks of how much we craved Saturday Morning cartoons.
*UPDATED WITH RIGHT TRACK. HAD A MOMENT WHERE I FORGOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT* Been a long week!
When it comes to male vocals that know how to serenade a house beat to soulful unique perfection, I would be an idiot not to include Stee Downes in my list. First off, I been a huge fan of his voice ever since falling in love with the Lovebirds track “Want You in My Soul.” If you haven’t heard that song, then you need to go listen to it over and over again. Lovebirds are awesome.
So once you hear the voice of Stee Downes, you’ll understand why his new track with Mario Basanov — “Say What You Want” — is stuck in my head. From the first few pulsating moments you know that something good is right around the corner, and then Stee Downes comes in with this awesome chorus that has so much sass about people saying what they want about you, but you just don’t care.
The lyrics are simple, but the tone of Stee’s voice makes them even more powerful. And it is just such a good song that I can personally relate to. You know, the whole thing of trying to please someone and you do what you can, but they they say stupid stuff and you’re just like “dude, whatever, I don’t care.” Yeah, you know what I mean? Or maybe it’s just me…
I digress, so let’s just say that this song is awesome and you need to listen to it on repeat over and over again. Please, trust me on this, it’s a really really good song! I’ve heard it over and over in so many different podcasts and I just can’t get enough!
