The early reviews have already begun rolling in, and it appears that Prometheus is a movie sci-fi fans should totally check out.
I had already planned on seeing it whether it got good reviews or not (but come on, it’s Ridley Scott, so I doubt it would be bad.) The film is on my list of must-see summer films, and I’m anxious to see it tomorrow. I get the general idea of the film, but apparently there might be some twists, a lot of suspense, and those moments where you can’t help but jump and/or scream. And if you’ve seen the trailers for the film, then you’ve heard that creepy music and know that something must be lurking around the corner.
Speaking of the trailer for the film, have y’all seen the fan-made trailer made out of paper? Like remember when you were a kid and you perhaps played with paper dolls or knew the girl next door had a collection of paper dolls….well, it’s sort of like that. The trailer is made completely out of paper and it’s even getting recognition by the studio behind Prometheus, 20th Century Fox.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Chris Petrikin (vice president of corporate communications) was quite impressed with the fan-made trailer. He said, “This is further proof that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and that talent is everywhere.
Talent surely is everywhere and it’s apparent from this video that you can truly do anything you put your mind to, even it it’s taking an expensive Hollywood movie trailer and recreating it with paper. Awesomesauce.
