Ever went to a friend’s house, you know the one who claims to make the best drinks, and walked away disappointed (or miserably wasted) from a unbalanced cocktail? Well, I haven’t, but I know some people who have had that happen. It’s nice to be that guy or that girl who wants to make the best drinks for everyone, but sometimes you’ve got admit you need help when it comes to mixing up the right ingredients. But if you have the Barman mixing Platform, then never again will you have just an okay cocktail.
Currently a project on Kickstarter, The Barman is the latest technological solution to mixing cocktails. With this new technology, you don’t have to be a seasoned bartender and surely you won’t have to scram recipe books looking for the right measurements for the cocktail of your choice. Barman puts a stop to that nonsense.
With an App for your smartphone, you can find the recipe for the cocktail you’re craving. Once you’ve selected it, the recipe is sent via bluetooth to the Barman platform. Using proportions, the Barman tells you how much of each liquor to add to the glass (of any size.)
This project is still in the funding phase, but the prototype is quite impressive. Watch the official demonstration here.
With this cool piece of technology in your home, never again will you make a bad drink.
OMFG. Yes, yes, yes. Battlefield 4 has been announced!!!! I mean, I thought I was excited about another Call of Duty game coming out in Fall (hopefully its better than Black Ops 2,) but now I’m insanely ecstatic upon hearing (and seeing) Battlefield 4 revealed.
As one of the biggest publishers for Electronic Arts, Battlefield 3 was an extraordinary experience for us FPS junkies. The single-player campaign mode was impressive, but the online gameplay was perhaps the main attraction of the title. And with it being such a success, I’m sure that Battlefield 4 will go above and beyond the call of duty (haha, it might actually be better.)
Running on Frostbite Engine 3, the17 minute gameplay of BF4 will surely blow your mind. Wow, those graphics are insane! Makes me want to wait for the PS4 just to it (or is it going to only be on Ps3, PC, and 360?)
Either way, I must say the ”Fishing in Baku” gameplay has caught my attention and I will be following the updates of this game closely!
Hopefully in the next coming weeks and months we will see more gameplay and hear more details of what to expect. Do you think it will be as epic as BF3? Hmmm…it just might be!
As a music junkie, especially a junkie with an addiction to deep house with pulsating bass, I take serious pride in owning headphones and sound equipment that gets the job done. I’m too broke to afford a pair of Beats by Dre, but my Bass Buds do a great job in noise reduction and giving me insane bass that is worthy of several eargasms.
If you haven’t read my review on Bass Buds, then go read it now! They are the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned and the latest delight, BassBoomz, is the best portable bluetooth speaker I’ve held the honor of owning.
Originally I was going to do a video review, but I’m so busy right now…so this blog post will have to do. Basically, BassBoomz are amazing! I’ve had mine for the past few days and I can’t stop using it! It’s so easy to connect via bluetooth to your phone or laptop. Mine easily pairs with my Macbook Pro and my Samsung Galaxy, and the bass is massive!
When I mean massive bass, I mean it’s that time of mind-blowing throbbing that is perfect quality and feels good. Its not a crappy sound quality that has an annoying hum or metal vibrating sound; this little speaker packs a high-tech bass system. The performance of this speaker deserves a 10/10.
As far as the design goes, it’s pretty cool. I received a pink speaker (shipped from the UK via royal mail,) and it’s such a small speaker that can blast music that can be heard throughout both the rooms in the apartment. Trust me, this little guy gets loud!
If you want an affordable, innovative, and great bluetooth speaker that has major braggin’ rights, then you should give BassBoomz a shot. For the house music lovers out there or those who love dubstep, trap, and hip-hop with booming bass, then BassBoomz is the way to go!
I love this little speaker! The vibration of the bass can be felt…and that’s every music lovers dream! Well, for me, it’s all about hearing that bass. I mean, seriously, I’m that girl that gets close to the speaker at the club just to hear the house music throughout my body. So trust me, this speaker is really good! It gives me that same feeling, and it’s awesome for travel, parties, and chilling outside.
Even though the PSN can get on my nerves sometimes, I’m still a die hard Sony fan. The only time I ever lost my trust in Sony was when the PSN was done for weeks in 2011; I almost lost my mind! But following that embarrassing incident, Sony has kept my interest and I still play PS3 on a daily basis. So with the news of the PS4, I’m proud to be an avid supporter of PlayStation.
Unless you are totally unaware of the happenings in gaming culture, then you have no excuse not to be aware of this week’s Playstation 2013 meeting; official confirmation of the Ps4 and the future of gaming.
Yes, yes, yes! The next step in the Playstation series will be the Ps4. In the tradition of Playstation, there is no need for a new name. Might as well continue the series of Ps1, Ps2, Ps3, and now a Ps4. And as the fourth generation system in the Playstation franchise, it seems that this will be the best one to-date.
Of course the Ps3 is quite spectacular and the free online play is a huge perk, but the Ps4 has a lot of new features that will take gaming and interaction to new heights.
I could go on and on about all the new features, but that is boring! Especially when you can watch it for yourself. But here is a few of the new perks, as well as the confirmed titles that will be on Ps4.
P.S. this console is slated to be released in the Holiday season of 2013. No
So many good games coming to the PS4. The makers of Halo, Bungie, have even teamed up with the folks behind Call of Duty to make an epic adventure called Destiny. The game I’m most excited for is Watchdogs. Looks so good!
