Awesomesauce | BaneCat Strikes Back! (Video)

The internet is full of cat videos ranging from adorable to hilarious, but one video that truly changed the game was “BaneCat.”

Basically, a few months ago this guy decided to make a parody of Bane (you know, Batman’s nemesis,) and instead of repeating the same cliche parodies we’ve seen on the web, he decided to turn his cat into Bane.

Say hello to BaneCat. He’s difficult to understand, he’s sneaky, he’s clever, he’s an asshole, and yet he’s hilariously cute. And now, he has returned to the internet in a second episode.

Check it out. Hopefully we’ll see more of these in the future. And if not, at least we’ve got the awesomeness to enjoy for the time being.

Awesomesauce | Jonah Hill ‘Her’ Movie Spoof – ‘Me’ (VIDEO)

Last night, Jonah Hill hosted Saturday Night Live and while most of the skits were decently funny, the best was his hilarious spoof of Spike Jonze’s film, Her.

In the same way Her is about a guy falling in love with his phone’s OS, Jonah’s spoof follows the same premise, except his OS sounds just like him and has the same personality. Basically, he is in love with himself.

The whole Spike Jonze concept is creepy, but apparently it’s a really good movie. And I hadn’t planned on seeing it, but after watching this “Me” spoof, I might have to see what it’s all about.

ME

Oh, and in case you missed the opening monologue from SNL, be sure to check it out.

“Yes, Rose. Yes, you’re flying.”

Awesomesauce | Stormtroopers Twerking (VIDEO)

stormtrooper-greeting

You’d figure that we had enough of the twerking craze in 2013, especially with Miley Cyrus and her flat ass (seriously, she has no cakes) exploiting the dance.

Well, the viral twerkfest isn’t over. Now, Stormtroopers are joining in on the fun.

That’s right, Stormtroopers are twerking. Apparently, it’s officially a thing. This video could have easily bordered cheesy or cheap, But much to my surprise, it actually is really cool!b You haven’t seen twerking look so geeky, yet so fresh, until you watch this video of a group of Stormtroopers showing off their hip-hop moves.

SNL | Sasheer Zamata Rocks The Crowd x Drake Shows Us His Funny Side

Dude, for the first time in a really long time, Saturday Night Live was actually really funny! Not just a few giggles here and then, but I mean totally LOL funny.

Last night, two things happened on SNL: Drake hosted/performed and Sasheer Zamata made her debut is the first black-female cast member in 6 years.

Sasheer Zamata Is #Winning

For her first time on the show, Sasheer totally wins the spotlight. At first I thought they would only have her in 1 or 2 sketches (remember when Jay Pharaoh first joined,) but she was present in almost every majorly funny skit.

Drake Channels Lil Wayne/Steve Urkel & Katt Williams

In “Before They Were Stars” skit featuring Drake, as well as Sasheer, Drake had me rolling on the floor in tears @ his crazy impersonation as Lil Wayne as Steve Urkel.

OMG. MAD FUNNY!

Not only was I laughing at that, but even Sasheer pretending to be Rihanna was quite a riot! She is so silly and she seems to really be fitting in with the cast. You go girl!

But Drake wasn’t done with impersonations. In the video above he does a hilarious Jay Z, but wait until you see him act as Katt Williams in the skit below. LOL. He actually really does sound like Katt Williams, he especially has got the mannerism down to a science.

Overall, it was a great episode last night! Check out some of the highlights from last night’s episode of SNL.

Netflix Instant | ‘Populaire’ Is A Delightful French Romantic-Comedy

Populaire-930x620x2_scalewidth_630

If you loved The Artistthen you will enjoy Populaire.

While the premise is of course different, Populaire has that same romantic vintage-modern vibe as The Artist. The film also happens to feature Bérénice Bejo (Peppy Miller from The Artist.) So if that isn’t a good enough reason to watch it (it should be,) then let me tell you more about this film and why it’s great!

Keystrokes To The Heart

Firstly, let me share with you how excited I was to watch this movie. It had been sitting in my Netflix Instant queue for 2 weeks, and last night, after cracking up watching SNL, I stayed up till 4am watching Populaire. Once you start this movie, you’re going to want to see how it ends.

I’m not going to spoil it for you, so I’ll keep this quite simple. The film follows a small town French girl, Rose Pamphyle (Déborah François) and her search to find her way as a modern girl in France. Continue reading Netflix Instant | ‘Populaire’ Is A Delightful French Romantic-Comedy

Awesomesauce | ‘Devil Baby’ Strolls The Streets of New York (VIDEO)

Remember when the Carrie remake came out last year and they did the crazy coffee shop prank? Well, in a similar marketing strategy, the marketing department of the Devil’s Due (out tomorrow) have created a crazy viral mania with their “Devil Baby” prank.

The video, which already has 8.5+ million views on YouTube, shows a remote-controlled baby in a stroller terrifying random New Yorkers.

I already can’t stand kids and don’t want to have any, but I couldn’t imagine having this prank pulled on me. I would have totally flipped out! Major meltdown perhaps. I’m already awkward with babies (just don’t have that motherly vibe,) let alone a demon baby. Oh, HELL NO!

From a blood-curling “exorcist-like” scream to vomiting uncontrollably, this baby is on a demonic rampage!
