If I’m not spending my downtime sipping on some coffee and getting lost in a good book, then I’m probably off at an art gallery. I love art, not just because I’m a visual artist as well, but I just love the quietness & fresh appeal of wandering through a gallery.
Art is refreshing, and it deserves to be highlighted more in music videos. So when I saw London duo AlunaGeorge’s music video for “Your Drums, Your Love” I was pleased they shot the video in a gallery.
The entire music video was filmed at Dalston’s Print House Gallery, and the video features the works of young London artists. Not only does the video have cool artwork, but the choreography is also very sophisticated and artistic. The entire video just feels so avant-garde. Fabulous!
So now that you’ve heard the original track and watched the video, you have to check out this awesome new remix by Friendly Fires.
The remix was released yesterday and by far it’s my favorite remix of AlunaGeorge’s “Your Drums, Your Love.” Trust me, the other remixes by Lil Silva, Duke Dumont, and the Prototypes don’t disappoint, but Friendly Fires gives the song a nice new spin, yet you still feel the same power + emotion of the original track.
