Man, don’t you just love when you hear an awesome track in a mix and then a few days later find out the name of it? Well, that just happened to me. And folks let me tell you, I’m quite pleased I’ve finally got an id for this bouncy synthpop track.
You might recall last week I posted The Magician’s Magic 25 Tape and if you took the time out to listen to it (I doubt you could ignore such a magic dosage of sound) then you might remember hearing this bouncy tune that had this 80s synthpop sound. And I’m such a sucker for that 80s synthpop sound, so I couldn’t help but to get super happy(like Spongebob) and do this quirky little dance. Ah, good times…
Anyways, the name of that song is “Surrender” and the version played during the Magic 25 Tape is the remix by Shazam. So now you know who the remix is by, but of course you’ll need to know who the original is by. Well, ladies & gentlemen, this awesome track is by none other than Japanese electrodisco duo Kill The Hero and MK de Monde.
Peep the track below. Trust me, it’s totally pure awesomeness of electrodisco & synthpop fusion.
