I’ve got a few favorite tracks this summer, but the biggest track this summer has been “Money Makin.” A nice collaboration between A-Trak and Dillon Francis, “Money Makin” is a fresh summer jam.

The song was such a big success, that A-Trak and Dillon Francis have released a crazy remix package that you can buy on Beatport & iTunes. Click here to get your hands on this fresh remix package of a song that is just as equally fresh.

Not only is the song fresh, but the music video is hilariously dope (not trying to sound to “swagged” out, but hey it’s a dope video.) The video features cameos from A-Trak’s brother Dave 1, P-Thugg (second half of Chromeo,) rap legend Greg Nice, and a few other significant folks.

This post sounds so swagged out right now, but hey when listening to Money Makin’ you’ve got to feel the vibe. It makes you just feel uber confident, especially if you’re makin’ money (which I need to do once I graduate end of this semester.)

But I digress. The moral of the story is that you need to get your hands on the remix package and if you don’t follow the happenings of Fools Gold Records, then check it before you wreck it! Seriously, ever since falling in love with Chromeo a few years ago and realizing that A-Trak is Dave 1′s younger brother, I’ve been following A-Trak and Fools Gold Records closely.

Fools Gold Records, founded by A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, are known for producing some fresh tracks that nicely fuse together electronic music with a hip-hop vibe. A lot of the artists on the label fall into the electronic category, but there is so much versatility that it’s hard to truly label each artist/song that is released on Fools Gold Records.

Just by seeing the success of Fools Gold Records, I’m sure there is nothing fake about their gold. I’m sure most of the DJs have their own money makin’ routine, we know for sure that A-Trak does. Watch his “money makin” routine below.
