Thank you Pandora! If it wasn’t for me laying in my bed this morning and listening to my Pandora station based off the sounds of Aeroplane, then I would have never heard of Kito & Reija Lee. And if I wouldn’t have heard their insanely dope song “Sweet Talk,” then I wouldn’t have gone on a Youtube search and learned they changed their name to FAUX NO; which lead me to the discovery of their latest single “Velma Kelly.”

So who are the girls that make up FAUX NO? Well, the duo consists of Australian natives Maaike and Reija, who now both live in London and produce insanely dope music. It isn’t often that I like to use the word “dope” due to how played out it can become, but seriously, FAUX NO’s beats and lyrics are dope, epic, and spectacular. 

Their latest track under the moniker FAUX NO came out about a month ago, and the video has this amazing vintage vibe. And if the title of the song “Velma Kelly” sounds familiar, then perhaps you remember the main character from the hit musical, Chicago.

I love the music video for “Velma Kelly” and I could totally just watch + listen to it over and over again. I’m now a fan of FAUX NO and I’m anxious to hear more music. But I still have to search through YouTube and listen to more of their tracks under the moniker Kito & Reija Lee.
