I’ve heard some pretty good mixes throughout the summer, but the past few weeks I’ve been listening non-stop to Bones: The Deep End Summer 2012 Mixtape.
It doesn’t take much for a mix to catch my attention, especially if it has the right momentum. The thing I love the most about the Bones mixtape is that is has this great fusion of deep, garage, funky bass, tech house, and dirty electro. You’d think that all those genres in one mix would sound messy, but the mix flows perfectly; track transitions are truly on point, never too late or too early.
Oh, and another thing I love about this mix…it’s a free download! So you can totally download it and listen to it while you’re working out or simply running errands. Whatever floats ya boat!
