New Release | Storm Queen – ‘Let’s Make Mistakes’

Before heading off to the gym (Planet Fitness,) I figured I’d share with y’all some of the music I’ve been listening to. I typically start my day off by listening to a variety of house tracks or a nice SS Radio UK podcast, but today I decided to peruse some music blogs and listen to some new releases.

One of those new releases that caught my attention was a track by Storm Queen called “Let’s Make Mistakes.” You may or may not know who Storm Queen is, but maybe the tracks “Look Right Through Me” and “It Goes On” might ring a bell. Sound familiar? Well if not, no worries…I’ll post them below.

I first fell in love with Storm Queen when I heard ”Look Right Through Me,” so I had an idea of what to expect on “Let’s Make Mistakes.” Storm Queen is known for having this deep gritty house sound propelled by a thumping bass and powerfully deep vocals, and the latest release is a track that captures that Storm Queen essence.

I’m really loving this track, especially the vocals by Damon C. Scott. It’s still soulful, but has that deep quality that I truly love.
