By no means necessary do I possess the superpower (nor the patience) for dealing with the absurdity of ignorance plaguing YouTube commenters, which is why I mainly express my opinions on my blog.
In regards to my aforementioned statement and how it relates to this post, well it’s partially due to the fact that high levels of negativity always surround Skrillex. Now, yes, I did write an article called “Skrillex Didn’t Invent Dubstep, the 90s Did,”mainly because I got tired of people saying he started dubstep; absolutely not true. Yet, that doesn’t mean that I have malice in my heart towards Skrillex, I actually like the young fella.
And I especially like his latest remix of Birdy Nam Nam’s ”Goin’ In.” Birdy Nam Nam is composed of four DJs from France, and they have been critically acclaimed for their insanely dope skills on the turntables; them dudes be killing it!
So what happens when you take four French DJs and team them up with an American dubstep guru? Well, you get a legit remix titled “Goin’ In (Skrillex ‘Goin’ Hard’ Mix.”) And while some people out there are hating on it or saying it sucks, well I’m going have to say that I personally like the remix + the original as well. Yeah…it’s legit. Trust me, give it a listen and see for yourself.
