Deep House | Maceo Plex – ‘Under The Sheets’

I’m not quite sure how it happen, but I fell in love with Maceo Plex. When it comes to the sounds of deep house that know how to move your body and rush throughout your bloodstream, Maceo Plex, as well as Maya Jane Coles, are two deep house producers that are essential to any deep house junkie’s playlist.

Maceo Plex has so many great tracks that I’ve been listening to as of late. He’s got some new stuff of course, but I’ve really been enjoying going through YouTube and listening to some of his earlier deep house tracks.  It’s really cool listening to the evolution of Maceo Plex (Eric Estornel) production as the years go by, yet he doesn’t change and try to become over commercialized. He stays true to the deep house/tech house sound that makes him such an phenomenal producer.

His tracks take sexy to new heights. He doesn’t have to put a lot of vocals on his tracks, but the music infused with a few phrases or vocal samples, creates this sex appeal that you just want to indulge in.

Not too long ago I wrote about the sexy and erotic vibe of his track, “Stay High Baby.” But his track “Under The Sheets” is yet another sexy tune that keeps it simple with the vocals “under the sheets,” but the sex appeal is driven by the deep house grooves pulsating in a melodic pattern.

“Under The Sheets” came out in 2011, but it’s still a track that is worth listening to. It may not be as erotic and deep as “Stay High Baby,” but it’s still yet another Maceo Plex production. It’s deep, and that’s just how I like it.
