Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – “Tapes & Money” (Official Music Video)

It’s often really hard for me to pick a favorite artist, but usually I have a few names in rotation. For awhile I was madly in love with M83 (still am,) but then I discovered Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and since then I’ve been falling in love with a lot of his music. Currently, his name is at the top of the favorites list.

He’s got this unique quality about him that makes him, well Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Every time he releases a new track I’m always waiting with anticipation to see what he’ll do next, and his latest single “Tapes & Money” didn’t disappoint. I initially blogged about the track when it first came out, but now TEED has releases an official music video for the track.

The David Terranova (he directed TEED’s 4play short film) directed visuals were shot in London at one of TEED’s live shows, and the lighting & massive amount of balloons creating a hypnotic dream-like effect. Not to mention, it’s always exciting seeing TEED dressed up in his usual dinosaur inspired clothing. He makes his music a lot of fun, and the costuming makes you just want to dress up like a dinosaur & dance the night away. Ok…maybe not exactly like a dinosaur, but some primitive inspired clothing. If done correctly, it could actually be a smashing success.

It’s up to you if you want to take fashion tips from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, but one thing we should commend on is his ability to produce catchy tracks with avant-garde music videos.
